That should be a good tag, we struck out on tags in 6a this year. We saw a lot of traffic in some areas, but were able to find plenty of elk. We passed up a few in the low 300's before connecting with a good one. I'd focus on being in the field before daylight to take advantage of any bugles...

Its usually hot and very little rut activity. Hike up high in the morning and listen for any action, rhen hunt water jn the evenings. Lots of nice bulls in that unit.
I got super luck and drew Unit 13 late muzzleloader. I've hunted 13 several times early archery but not muzzle loader. Anyone have any experience hunting this unit later in the year? Thanks for the info!
