It is pretty unfortunate that the NBar has placed a geographic monopoly on the elk herd. I can foresee disease within that herd in the coming years. Thank you! I have been hiking with a rifle for the last few years and I haven't had much luck for bears. I spent a great deal of time in Central Montana hunting. .or rather, hiking the Snowies with no luck.- mylesMT
