    Car Detailing

For sure! I'm excited to use it for the coffee drips that seem to find every crevice or parting edge in the plastics.

    Car Detailing

Yup, always try and keep up on the detail with our vehicles. Will be giving them a full compound and polish this year, followed by a ceramic coating. Interiors get done much more frequently on both. Just ordered a steamer, which should help keeping the insides nicer.

    2022 Fat-Off

We had a weight loss challenge at work around a year ago, my starting weigh in was 232lbs. We never actually finished it and it was forgotten about for the most part. I weighed myself the other day out of curiosity, and found I am down to 195 now, which should be great. A year of 3-5miles daily...

    Life in Alberta

Spot on I would say. Edmonton isn't much different for housing I believe. But with our economic downturn in the oil sector, its not looking too good for either city. Funny how they can talk about the fourth wave of covid, when we've barely begun the third...

    Are Deer Camps Dying?

Never grew up with a deer camp as anywhere we hunted was within an hour or so of town. All private land, although we had taken a camper to a couple spots when I was young(5-8). It wasn't until I was around 14 that we started hunting the mountains, and eventually were invited to a friends elk...

    That didn’t take long...

Condolences to the family. Its really unfortunate. We had a hiker here in Waterton National park in south western Alberta apparently get stalked by a sow and a cub this past weekend. He "rolled his ankle" and needed a helicopter to rescue him. Solo hiking, with his bear spray in his back pack...

Hunting season preparations, what did you do today?

Since getting the pup last September, I've managed 3-5km daily with him. The last 4 months have added elevation in the coulees as well. Its not much for distance, but I've already noticed a difference. Weekends we head out to different chunks of private in the search for sheds and will usually...

Input Needed to Make the Show Yellowstone More Authentic

Yes she has, funny though about this show, I went to highschool with a girl that was almost a sure thing for the part of monica, only down fall was not much acting experience. But she would have suited the part as she is actually native. That was the only reason I found out about the other...

Input Needed to Make the Show Yellowstone More Authentic

There has been pretty big controversy over the actress that plays monica, as she is not native, and rather comes from an Asian background... Hollywood eh.

Did ya hear TX is freezing over?

That really is unfortunate. Here in Alberta, I can remember a windmill-less landscape. Now in southern alberta alone, there really aren't any views that aren't obstructed by a windmill farm. 19 "farms" and counting. Add to that the solar farms they are building. The one northwest of me covers...

    Glacier NP trip

As far as I am aware, Red Rock canyon will be a go this year. It would be nice to have it open from our perspective as well! Wouldn't mind another trip down to Great Falls.

    Glacier NP trip

Come spring, it should all be reopened. As of right now(winter closures) the main townsite is open, minus any of the businesses, as well as the road to Cameron lake. But that road I believe is weather dependant on how much snow accumulates.

Alberta man rides buffalo to the store

I resent that comment, we are more like the Texas of Canada if anything. Funny though, that guy lives less than an hour from me, and I never heard anything about it.

    Alberta ram.

There are a few other pictures of him floating around. Those are from a photographer in Lethbridge, johnkrampelphotography on Instagram. There were others posted recently of him on a road as well. He's an absolute brute.

    Alberta ram.

Well guys... This is arguably the best ram currently in Alberta. Unable to be hunted due to him residing in a national park. What do you figure he'd score?

Christmas gifts for wife or girlfriend.

Took a bench that my grandpa had built for my grandma, covered it in barnboard, and redid the lid with hair on cow hide. She's a sucker for sentimental stuff, and it turned out pretty good for me not being a wood worker. Also her favorite perfume that you can no longer find in Canada, and a...
