Recreational Shooting - Ethics question
They way I understand it is that it's totally off limits. That's how I've always treated it. If you look at a map of them they have it completely blocked off and marked as closed. I know I ran into it in a few spots when trying to find places to hunt whitetail in around Wheatland.- Wyo7

There is a bunch of extra restrictions on state lands in Wyoming. You also can't hunt any agricultural/irrigated parcels that are on state lands. Really cuts down on some good hunting opportunities. Weatherby Accuguard. Any real experience?
I like to hear that from a non-bias perspective. Was it pretty well balanced? I’ve been looking at the browning x-bolt long range pretty seriously too but hate how barrel heavy they are. At what age would you start your child?
I wouldn't worry about them being "spoiled" at a young age and then losing interest. If anything I feel like it will teach them to be a more mature hunter earlier than normal. Thanks! Was able to harvest a doe with the 35 again this year. I have some long range rifles but after hunting with the open sight lever gun I find myself leaving the bolt guns home more and more often just because the challenge makes it more enjoyable. -

Eld-x bullets for elk?
My personal experience with them is the 143 eldx in 6.5 creedmoor on antelope are incredible. That's all we use for antelope anymore.
