Looking at a new antelope rifle...
I'm in the same boat and am seriously considering a 6mm creedmoor, I had one in a Ruger Precision Rifle and it was incredibly accurate. Just need one a tad lighter for hunting purposes. Shoots the 103gr ELD X right around 3,000fps and has very minimal recoil. Fun caliber to shoot. -

10x42 enough for open country muleys?
I carry my 10x42s, generally use them first when I get to a good glass spot to do a quick once over of closer stuff and obvious "bucky" looking spots. Then I get the tripod out and slap on the 18x56 Kaibabs and start picking apart the farther out stuff. Worked great out in the sage hills of WY... -

Colorado unit 11/211 2nd season
Do you have onx? I was working on a wildfire down in that area during 2012 and we found quit a few deer sheds within the black (burnt area). It was also in one of the BLM wilderness study areas. If you have onx I can tell you the name of the fire and you should be able to turn that filter on... -

Backcountry phone charger
Planning on doing a solo back country trip and will be using my iphone with onx off grid mode, it will also be my camera. What do you guys use for a charger, should I need one? I don't plan on having the app open all the time but would like to keep the phone juiced up. Thanks- clark33
