Leftover New Mexico Deer and Javelina Tags
Hey Guys, I was looking at New Mexico Game and Fish and left over deer and javelina tags go on sale June 27. I checked through the tags. It is mostly muzzleloader. I thought I would fire this off as it would be of interest to some. Matt- flintknapper

Sub sonic .308 Round
This is not something I am that familiar with, but I was attracted to the topic and read the responses. I have never seen many 308 subsonic cartridges for sale, but it should be easy enough if you are loading yourself. Advice on new elk rifle
I use a Browning BAR Mark II Safari chambered in 300 win mag. It was a hand me down from my father-in-law. I prefer semi-auto (if not using single-shot break-action). So it works for me. I don't really have much to add other than I never thought I would like 300 win mag. I got mine from my father in law who wanted to gift us an elk gun. semi-auto under $300? It might be hard, but you could possibly get something used. Easier for that price is to get a pump or a single break-action. Just Joined, I got an Ibex Permit for the Florida Mountains, and I am super nervous
It is rifle and scheduled for Nov 15 through 29. This seems late to me, but it is the first hunt of the season for ibex. I was planning to use 300 win mag to hunt.
