Boots, eczema, and ingrown toenails
I have terrible feet. I ran track and cross country in school and suffered from eczema, ingrown toenails, and shin splints (pronation?). I wear my tennis shoes often to help with the eczema and ingrown toenails. I also change my socks once a day on an all day hunt and try to air my feet out...- GAoutdoors

I would say you could give it a try in the morning especially since the jakes are pretty young and dumb! If its a good spot, then the turkeys should be near. You never know what could happen.- GAoutdoors

Hunting without high-priced toys
I have been thinking about this lately. Having new hunting and fishing gear is great, but there are other things I would rather spend (or save) money on. I hear stories of my dad hunting in blue jeans and a long sleeve shirt. I would rather go hunting/fishing more than worry about the best gear...- GAoutdoors

Tips for a new turkey hunter
Great advice here! I have found woodsmanship and scouting to be the most important. After all, you can't kill turkeys unless they are in that area. Make sure to hunt all day if possible. What sight - has been figured out
I am thinking about going with the regular also. I think the dovetail on the XL is the main difference. It allows you to get the sight out further from your riser. Some people say its easier to see the pins that way?- GAoutdoors
