    Opinions on .338 Win Mag

I agree with both sides here. I do view guns as an investment, but on the other hand they're worth more to me in the field than in the safe. Thank's for the input though guys.

    North Dakota public land transfer

Senator John Hoeven has secured a commitment from Secretary Zinke's advisor to advance a bill that would transfer public land to the state around Jamestown Reservoir. His goal is for these lands to be sold as residential lots. According to him this has statewide support, even from North Dakota...

    Opinions on .338 Win Mag

I recently picked picked up a Ruger M77 in .338 Win Mag. It was just too cheap to pass up. Anyhow, I'm not sure if I really have a use for it right now. I've already got a .300 and that's enough gun for me. Is it worth keeping in the safe or should I trade for something I'd actually use?

    Region 7 Montana

I'm originally from Terry so I might be a little biased, But there's a crazy amount of public land in that area. A lot of it is hunted hard from the road, but there's some excellent country that a lot of people don't get to. There's quite a few patches of public north and south of the...

    Eloping to Alaska!

So, my soon to be bride and I have decided to do something a little against the grain. Instead of your typical wedding, we're going to elope to Alaska for a wedding/honeymoon combo! The only plan we really have at the moment is to fly into Anchorage and go from there. We're looking to spend a...

    Bipod? Shooting sticks? Backpack?

Start practicing with what you've got at the range and see what you are most comfortable with. A backpack in the prone or kneeling position will work just as well as a bipod in my opinion.
