    Since this is the last year of hunting eastern Oregon with the OTC archery tag, I would opt to buy the archery tag. The 119a and western general deer tags will be there next year for you.

    I’m not sure, but the lifetime license is worth it if you move away and plan to continue to hunt Idaho.

    I know in Idaho if you are a resident and move away you can apply in the resident draw for life, but pay non resident tag fees. Are there any other states where this is the case?

    I appreciate the input mixedbag and LopeHunter. Drawing a big3 tag every 8 years is impressive! So, maybe I will apply in Montana. After reading that, I’m having a feeling that if I don’t apply I may end up regretting it down the road.

I have only ever hunted in Oregon as a resident, but want to start hunting the other Western states. For 2018, I will be applying in OR, ID, WY, CO, NV, UT, and AZ. What I’m not sure about is...
