I drew an elk tag for Unit 25/27 and unfortunately I'll be stuck going solo for the archery portion. I saw a distribution map of the grizzly bears in Wyoming and saw that it stretches all the way down into 27 now. Are those maps created based off bear sightings or are they based off projections...
I know SD has changed some of their laws with access via water/flooded lands but I was wondering what North Dakotas Laws are. I can't seem to decrypt them. I know in Minnesota if you can float a boat on it you can access it (best rule of thumb) but I don't know if ND is the same or not.
MN_Bowhunter4 maybe you said it in an early post and I missed it but it looks like your hunting out of a saddle? How do you like it, if you are, and what kind?

I was just curious if anyone on here knows if their states have something similar or what that committee would be like. The tag line that's pulling at me is "People who want to serve should have a strong interest in natural resource...
big brother must be looking out for me because this just happened to show up in my youtube suggestions... AZ game and fish coming through for the win agian!
We were thinking of catching some crayfish and trying a boil this summer. Has anyone on here had any experience doing something like that? We have never done it before but are intrigued to try. Also any recipe ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The more thought I put into it isn't necessary about who carries the load but more about how hunters are perceived. A common comment I get from non-hunters when you bring up all the different conservation groups is "yea that's great, you conserve habitat so that there are more animals you can...
I was listen to a Hunting Collective Podcast with Shane Mahoney in it, the 2 part one. I highly recommend listening to both of them Episodes 51 and 52. https://www.themeateater.com/listen/the-hunting-collective-2 One thing that Shane brought up and I'm curious on would be the idea of hunting...
My two cents. I will preface this with that fact that i'm a firm believer in the KISS principle (keep it simple, stupid)
Abortion: done with Roe Vs Wade
Guns: Taken care of with the Second Amendment
Public lands: no constitutional or supreme court ruling protections (that i'm aware of, if...
I'm pumped! I have been waiting since the end of last season! Chasing ducks is my first true love. Nothing beats a geeked out lab when the shotgun and camo comes out. Or walking through the pitch black in water pulling a boat behind. Or those cupped wings and legs dangling over decoys.
He said it was a Scott longhorn but it doesn't look like any of the Scott longhorns. it looks kinda like the Scott advantage and longhorn pro. The more I have looked into it I haven't found anything bad with any of them? Is there any huge differences between different brands or is it one of...
I borrowed a back tension / hinge release from a friend and really liked it. However they dont seem to make that model anymore. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Its Amendment #71 to the House Interior Appropriations bill.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I greatly appreciate it.
I have a question and mainly because I'm new stepping into the realm of actually contacting my representatives. How does one handle the issue of your representative introducing a bill that you disagree with. I feel as tho sending the generic don't support bill #xyz really isn't that effective if...
Honestly the smartest things the anti public lands group did was make this a political issue. They realized how polarizing politics are and they know that if they can get one of the parties to adopt their agenda then right off the top they get half the people to support, it just because. I see...
