colorado Unit/GMU 14
Hunted 14 for a week this archery season. The blowdown is horrible. Also the Middle Fork fire has most of the wilderness shut down indefinitely. Check it out before you go.- Coyothunter

I'm headed to Palisades in Sept with a buddy and horses. Lived and hunted in Utah for several years, so I have an idea what we're getting into. Ive never hunted ID before and have been trying for weeks to contact a biologist to answer a list of questions about the area, but haven't found anyone...- Coyothunter

Possible Elk Trip to Utah or Idaho
Killed a couple bulls on the North Slope several years ago and I'm pretty sure it was more luck than sense. It is REALLY crowded. The elk are there if you can find them.- Coyothunter

You have elk in PA. Before you head out west, spend some time in the hills close to home and figure out how these critters work. find someone close to home who can teach you some things and get to know elk before heading across the country. then, just go. North Cache Unit Utah (archery)
