Barnes TTSX 120 and Nosler Accubond 140 have both been very impressive... Working up some different recipes now but the Superformance powder and the varget and RL 15 have all been easy to load and very accurate so far- K9COP357

Hornady GMX
The GMX has performed great on some hogs out of my 280 Remington... Haven't recovered any bullets yet but the internal organ damage on them was on par with the Barnes TTSX which i love also... I haven't shot any deer with the GMX yet but plan to this coming season although I am thinking it is...- K9COP357

308 vs 6.5 creedmore
in the AR platform my pick is the 6.5 creedmoor but for a solid bolt action build I would opt for the 308... I have both calibers, the creedmoor is a fun low recoil caliber but if your shooting the 308 with some hot ammo from a 22 to 24 inch barrel it just seems to drop animals faster, plus the... -

.308 round for Whitetail
I couldn't agree more... The SST's are phenomenal and have never let me down... The accubonds and TTSX's perform great also but the SST's seem to drop deer and hogs on the spot- K9COP357

As for the calibers you have in question there is no wrong or bad choice... I have guns chambered in each of the mentioned caliber and am comfortable with carrying any of them in the woods... I usually only break out the 7 mag when shots might be taken at the 500 plus yards range... The 270...
