I am a first time antelope hunter. I drew a tag in unit 113. I have learned that there are some issues getting access to the BLM land in much of the unit. I have looked at county road maps and this appears to be true. Was wondering if anyone here had any experience hunting this unit...
Planning the same thing this year. Do you mind telling me what unit you hunted and what you thought about it. I am looking at unit 113, 45, and 7 in Wyoming.
I am interested. I have a couple of points in Wyoming. Applied for a general tag last year but didn't get it. Have killed an elk in Wyoming but that was a guided hunt on private land with a rifle. Have never done the DIY thing for elk with a bow but certainly want to. I live in Missouri as well.
Anyone have any experience hunting Colorado Unit 147 for Antelope? I know the Commanche National Grasslands is in the north part of the unit, but access looks difficult. There is some state land in the unit as well but I'm not sure if it is open to public hunting. Any information about access...
Applied for Unit 510 in Montana. This will be my first mule deer hunt. Will not have much time for scouting. Plan to hunt archery and gun season. Any information on this area or tips for success?
