    Just got my 10 x 32 Talon HD binoculars back yesterday. They had a rough ride to elk camp this year and were "unrepairable" ... so they sent a new pair, all in about 10-11 days. Ya think they just got a long term customer? You bet they did.

    I've trained 4 or 5 ... and none went as smooth as in the video. I'd take his advice over mine! The next time I work with this, I'm doing it exactly like that.

    I need a god pair of Hunting/Hiking Pants

    Cabelas Microtex or the Prana Zions ... both great pants. The former will be a bit looser fit, the latter are more snug. I use them both -- but Kuiu Attacks are the most comfortable pants I have, and are my standard travel/weekend/lounge/hiking/hunting pants.

    My son and I are headed to Kodiak/Raspberry Island in November to chase blacktails ... wondering if there's any intel out there on how the winter is going up there? It sounds like the last few years have been mild, and I'm guessing that's good news for the deer population.
