I had the same dilemma, and i ended up buying a Delorme Inreach used of eBay. You can save a few bucks and get the same function. It's very easy to register a used device in your name. I considered a new one, but Garmin makes them now. HOWEVER, Garmin map chips won't work in them. It's a great... -

Hey, I'm just west of KC in Bonner Springs. I drew unit 80 in wyoming. My first antelope hunt as well, so I'm looking everywhere to find info. If anyone has been in unit 80, I'd appreciate pointing me in a direction . Even something like, "focus on west side of unit" would be helpful. -
