Rain gear for early November elk hunt

Traveling with elk hopefully this fall need opinions on travel options
Okay so my buddy and me are traveling from Pennsylvania to Montana to hunt elk and deer this fall in the bobmarshall. Im going on a elk hunt this fall in bob Marshall wilderness area in the beging of November. Im torn between the cabelas alaskin hunters 200gm and the perfect extreme hunters 400gm. Mt elk hunt binocular choice 8x or 10x
Im going on my first elk hunt this fall in the bob Marshall wilderness area and im trying to decide if i should upgrade to 10x42.
