    New to the hunting worls

Hog and deer would be fun, but don't forget about Osceola turkey hunts or the great waterfowling Florida offers! I would recommend a line of waterfowl camo for your company, if for no other reason than I could always use some more.

    Suggestion for future episodes....

Reading this thread, and seeing so many people asking for Eastern hunts, may I suggest having a Youtube only Eastern hunter? Different coast, different sponsors (if needed), same idea of public land DIY. Could be a "Randy Newberg Presents: Insert Name". This way the Eastern host could show...

    Hello from good ole PA!

Sorry you had a negative experience up here. We don't have the deer herd that PA has, but we have some nice deer. It's really nice to see so many people from the area my alma mater is. Maybe someday I can get back down there and hunt the game lands again.

I wish we had snows up here in ME. Hunting them looks like a wicked good time, a waterfowling bucket list item.

    Maine Toms

I am in the Central part as well, around the China Lake region. It is a great area for me because there are plenty of turkeys, a good number of deer and some decent racks, lots of opportunity for waterfowl of all kinds, snowshoe hares and partridge (no, not huns that you Western guys reading...

    Maine Toms

I am not sure I am a good representation of Maine turkey hunters, or Maine hunters in general. I didn't have any real mentors (family doesn't hunt), so my style is good ol' fashioned trial and error and research online. Wisconsin seems like a wicked fun place to hunt, well all of these...

    Maine Toms

It is really cool to get input from people from around the country and seeing how tactics and animal behavior is different from region to region. As an update, I have been following a flock of hens and last years poults for a few weeks. As the weather continues to warm I am seeing more...

    Maine Toms

I appreciate the input. I'm hoping all of my scouting will pay off with a big Tom, but only time will tell. Chasing turkeys is insanely addictive.

    Maine Toms

A stretch of warm weather has melted much of our snow up here in Maine and has me itching for Spring turkey season. I usually start scouting about this time to find the general area of our Winter flocks, but recently I have been getting a lot of guff from people saying it is wasted effort at...

    Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever

Those are beautiful dogs. Pups must be pretty hard to come by, and costly too.

    Greeting from Maine

Well, he is more than welcome to hunt with us anytime, as are you if you come to visit. Puddle ducks, sea ducks, grouse, turkey, deer, and I am even trying to do some bear hunting. I am always open to new hunting buddies. Make sure that both of you start putting in for the moose permit...

    Greeting from Maine

Thank you all for such a warm reception! It's really cool that some of you have hunted the North Woods, I haven't had the chance to deer hunt up there yet, however I usually get up to the Moosehead Lake region for grouse hunting during October (only archery for deer at that time and the guys...
