Tipi tents in big wind country?
Do you guys feel like the bigger the tent, the worse it will do in windy conditions? I just picked up seek outside 16 man, and I’m wondering how it will hold up compared to smaller tents.- nialltom

Really like the setup you have there with the offroad trailer, Guy. Looks like you could go just about anywhere you'd want. I checked into them and it looks like their website is no longer operational. Any idea if they went out of business? Or maybe operating under a different name?- nialltom

Update - Downloading Trails into Google Earth
I have been using TopRut (https://toprut.com/submit-map-request/) for this. It's a quick download that includes layers for roads, trails, and topographic overlays. Has anybody used this and found the above linked resource to be different or better?- nialltom

If Buying Property Out West, What Do You Look For?
To acquire a property very close or directly connected to large tracts of public land that have good elk and deer hunting. It would be seasonal, so used for a couple of weeks in summer for fishing and scouting, and then again throughout hunting season. Wouldn't need to be a large piece as long...- nialltom

Wow, lots of good info to think about here, thanks guys. I never would have realized the degree to which water seems to be a priority. Although I'm not sure if it would be as big a hunting consideration for smaller 20 acre lots as I'd most likely be hunting outside of that 20 acres anyway...- nialltom
