Backcountry sleeping bag
Im no expert, but I didn't hear any mention of a sleeping pad. I think that pad selection is going to be just as important as the bag when deciding. im glad you explained how he (bruce) got that tag again....LOL. I was thinking..damn this dude drew that tag twice in the same amount of years Ive been applying and I STILL haven't drawn!! Thought my luck was even worse than I thought...hehe. Looking forward to the rest of the series.- rbljack

Water - how do you carry it?
I have used bladders, but I don't like them stored IN the pack with my gear. I have had a leak on one occasion. I have also had one leak at the bite valve for an entire trip...constantly dripping.
