She swam away strong! I’m not aware of multiple strains in our area. She is from a county park I live adjacent to. 23 1/2” X 18”. not many people target bass around here prior to the season opener which is in late June.
Nosler Trophy Grade 160 AB, Nosler Trophy Grade 140 AB. Federal Premium 160 AB. My experience is that most rifles will shoot one or all of these very well.
I've had good luck lately by keeping an eye on major ammo manufacturers websites. I check daily and have been able to find the factory ammo (enough for the 2021 season) I hunt with for most of my rifles. I also have seen rifle ammo on store shelves lately.
My buddy and I drew an early season wilderness deer tag in Colorado a few years back. We camped at 11,500 ft and found very few deer at that elevation. We moved down to around 9,500 ft and bingo!
I have a TC Venture 2 in .350 Legend. It is exceptionally accurate (1" @ 100 yards). I have it sighted in 2" high at 100 yds. It lands 4" low at 200 yds. I killed my Ohio buck with it in 2020. Very effective!
