Fantastic work! But don't restrict the secret to 50+ desk jockeys. This message needs to be heard way back in their 20's. One hour a day is pretty easy to get in when you factor the amount of phone scrolling that happens.
I use a pair of Burton boarding mittens that are oversized. Hot hands inside and easy to throw off quickly for a shooting opportunity. I find this to be the best option for me. I can withstand the cold for a few minutes to take a barehanded shot.
Don't cross it off. Just change it to a trail marathon. They have SNACKS at aid stations and hiking is not frowned upon. Road running can be rough because everyone is in a hurry to get done.
Neighbor of mine got pegged by this trophy formula for somewhere near $15K I think ... serves them right..... This kid looks like he could belong to the Brackett gene pool which could help explain the situation lol
Just starting A Farewell to Arms- Ernest Hemingway.
Anyone else find it interestingly difficult to read early 20th century literature considering the sentence structure and punctuation? Extremely different than I was taught in school.
That was my immediate thought. Extra pillows and cases everywhere.....
Midwestern whitetail hunter here so have never needed to quarter an animal yet but have carried pillow cases just in case I've gotten into a hairy spot. Glad to know experienced people do this without any issue.

Classic movie. Ill put it in top 10 for me
That's awesome. Was this an outfitted hunt? I've got to find a way to spin the idea to the wife. lol She's a fair weather fan and is more likely to buckle when there are nice accommodations. My boys would eat it up no matter which way I throw it at...

Stock setup was roughly 3-4 mpg higher than where I am now except for the tow mpg.
Tractor has the upper hand for all reasons listed above. I'll throw in that used attachment availability and $$ and will have an advantage over the skid steer.
If I were going the skid steer route I would also be getting a machine with tracks as opposed to wheels. So the cost continues to rise
