    Bison Calber

    I've got a Winter Bison tag for Northern Arizona. I am looking to use my .300 WinMag with 180g TTSX or 165g Nosler Accubonds. Does this sound like a reasonable caliber and bullet choice for Bison? Do I need to go bigger, say a 200g bullet? Thoughts from the group would be appreciated.

    Scouted this unit this week. 11 deer total seen. one buck, who needs a couple more years to develop. But, all were very healthy looking.

    Leupold SX-1 Ventana Soft Cover

    I have the above scope in 15-45 x 60. It's served me well since purchasing it. I am however a little frustrated because I cannot seem to find a soft cover for the scope. Does anyone have any idea where I could find one?

    California 5x4

    Shot this buck in 1983 in one of my favorite California hunt units. To date, he's still the biggest buck I've ever taken. At the time I had my tag validated by the local warden, he said it was the biggest buck he'd ever seen come out of the area. Not to bad for California.
