FHF Bino Harness with Range Finder Pouch and Wild Things Knucke Roaster For Trade

Getting out of MultiCam if I can. I have the previous generation FHF Bino harness without the MOLLE on the bottom with matching range finder pouch. Both in MultiCam. Bino harness is size M and fits 10x42. Used, but great condition. Looking for the same items in green, tan, Fusion or Cipher. I...

Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 and Bushnell Nitro 4-16x44 FFP scopes for sale - **Both SOLD**

This came with my Ruger American as well. I like it a lot actually, but my wife wants a bit more. Just not as much as the Bushnell Nitro. She is also a bit techie so we are probably getting a Sig BDX scope and range finder combo.

Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 and Bushnell Nitro 4-16x44 FFP scopes for sale - **Both SOLD**

Hi, looking to move a couple of scopes: Redfield Revolution 3-9x40 with 4-Plex Reticle; $100 shipped: SOLD I had this mounted on my Ruger American .308 and took a pronghorn doe a couple of years ago in Wyoming with it. Pictures show the scope rings, but they are not included with the sale...

Wyoming NR doe tag drawing question

Well, I think I did this correctly. I did a type 7 for first choice and type 6 for second choice in the same unit. Then on the second app I did a type 6 for first and type 7 for second in the same unit, but a different unit than the first app.

    Wyoming unit 62

Maybe type 7 will be back for 2020.

    Wyoming unit 62

Bringing this back. The exact wording says “east of the Continental Divide and north of Wise Dugout Draw.” Does this mean a type 2 and 6 hunt is north of the North Platte and east of the Haystack Mountains?

    Towing a Freezer

Thanks. We don’t currently own a truck though; we have a Subaru Crosstrek.

    Towing a Freezer

Yes, I definitely plan to have it about half filled with block ice. I’m not dead set on leaving it in the game bags. That was the whole purpose of this thread - what is the best way to put quarters in the freezer.

    Towing a Freezer

Thanks Dan. I would like to keep as much in quarters as possible. My wife likes the camping time as much as the hunting. Plus we want some cuts to stay on the bone. That is all easier to do at home.

    Towing a Freezer

It has 3 modes as shown in the picture below. Travel mode has 18” of clearance. That is the most compact form. Transport mode has 48” of clearance and you can see the picture of an ATV in it. Then you set it up as camp mode at your destination. We have a Subaru Crosstrek so we also can’t fit a...

    Towing a Freezer

I really did think about just going for bigger or more coolers, but after seeing others tow freezers I figured it was worth a try for a lower cost outlay. But hey, if it doesn’t work well next year, I will switch back and get more coolers.

The trailer is a SylvanSport Go, which is our whole base camp set up. It is coming regardless.

Awesome tips, thanks! How big is your chest freezer?

    Towing a Freezer

I hear you, but we are hoping to get 3-4 doe pronghorn tags this year to stock up on meat. I don’t have enough cooler space for that. To get some quality coolers for that volume it would cost more than a small generator. And I already have the chest freezer and trailer.

    Towing a Freezer

Hi Hunt Talk, Last year was my first year attempting pronghorn and I drove out from Florida, where I was stationed with the Navy. I got a doe in Wyoming. My wife and I really liked the meat so we are going to go for more tags this year. We have a small trailer and 7 cubic foot chest freezer. We...

    Freezing Meat and Flying Home

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like flying with the styrofoam is out. I may still get one just to hold the dry ice all in one spot while we are in the field. I’m flying Southwest and they allow for up to 5.5 lb of dry ice per package. We are planning to camp, but may hotel it the last night...
