Can I afford it?
Ive debated posting this question for sometime and finally decided what can it hurt. I'm 54 in Oct and want to retire before season 2028 at age 60. I work at UPS and will have a pension of 49k. MT app question
Don't think Ill make it to MT this year so was thinking I would just do the point app in July. Question is if I apply now and put in for a LE and don't get it would that be more expensive than just doing the point deal in July? -

boys tag out!
Just got back from SW MT and had a great hunt in my book. I had a general tag and my boys both had B tags that were all that was available when they found out they could get off work. I didn't fill my tags but both boys (21 and 19) shot their cows and I was the proudest hunter in the state... -

Tax Payment ?
I did my sons taxes in Feb and he ended up owing $550.00. He sent in a check in at that time and when it didn't get cashed right away we figured it would April 15th(18) It still has not been cashed. My question is should we be concerned that it was lost or is this normal government delay.- chadv

elk only or combo
Just wondering if most of you are going with the elk tag or adding the big game combo for a couple more dollars? I'm getting ready to apply and wondering if being a tight @#! is the way to go. MT General ?
Do most districts allow either sex with a general tag or are they mostly bull only? I've been looking at the goHunt page trying to narrow down areas to start from and I noticed they mentioned higher pressure because of either sex? -

Which State?
With my job I have to choose My vacations a year ahead of time. I picked the last three weeks of Nov for 2017. I'm from SD so this is when I enjoy the pheasant hunting and archery hunting. If you guys had the same time off would MT trump WY or CO for you? -
