    Wyoming or South Dakota? I am flying up my wife to Rapid City for a long weekend halfway through my three week SE Montana (deer) / Wyoming(antelope doe) hunt. Little does she know that will also be a scouting trip for a future SD blackhills deer hunt. Good luck on ya'll hunt.

    I am headed to SE Montana in November for first deer hunt there. I have never shot a Merriams and it looks like Montana has a coinciding fall turkey season. Also looks like you can use a rifle? How realistic would it be to have a chance at getting a turkey on public in November? Thanks

    Locking up your gear while your in the back country

    We have a game cart that several people would use / share when they made western hunts. One trip to Nebraska we bent the wheels. I spent quite a bit upgrading the bearings/ rims and wheels to make it better. The next trip with it to NE Wyoming it was stolen from the tent during the day...

    Mr Doug, I think I work with your grandson down here in Louisiana. The knowledge that 24 year old guy has shared with me is unbelievable. There is nothing we can talk about that he hasn’t done and isn’t an expert in. Really humbling for me.

    You are one hell of a friend. I cashed in on my 8 points last year and had the “antelope hunt of my life”. Meaning at almost 50 years old I will never have enough points to draw that unit again. My advice would be for you to draw an awesome unit and y’all travel together and enjoy the hunt...
