2017 CO Archery Elk Partner Needed
Looks like I am in the right spot. Coming up from Texas to backpack in for a 5 day bow elk hunt. I have been doing commercial roofing for a decade and am 33, so I am in decent shape. 4x lens

Need more practice!
I will just have to buy a hunting rifle later, probably a 308. I did get a Savage Mark ll and 800 rounds of ammo for under $300. Thank y'all for the advice. I am really happy with this gun- JmmgBOWhunter

A BB gun as a kid. Will a 243 be enough for whitetail, hog, and coyote. That is about all I would potentially hunt when I was proficient enough.- JmmgBOWhunter

Going whitetail hunting open weekend. Have been scouting area since end of May when flooding stopped (think deer are back to normal). Have some good bucks on trail cams. I have only hunted once before, but I am really good with my bow.- JmmgBOWhunter
