Snake River, Oregon Spring Bear Hunt
Had a great hunt in the Snake River unit in Oregon. We killed one bear off in a pretty good hole. Still wasn't as springy and green as I was hoping for. Doe hunts are invaluable for me as a bowhunter
Living out west, I might only get 2 or 3 "good" tags a year. And that usually means an over-the-counter elk and deer tag. And if I'm lucky a Wyoming Bull or Antelope tag. So how do you get good at bowhunting, only hunting 2 or 3 hunts a year? I've found a couple of hunts where I can hunt... -

A Great Gift
My stepson, up to this point has been shooting with me. Of course, the best we could do is get him a plastic toy bow. Which couldn't throw an arrow fast enough to stick in a bag target. Kind of frustrating for an 8 year old. But thanks to Ron King @ Fox Archery, he has his own custom bow... -
