Like the above posters said Green River is a tough town. But don't let the distance between cities be a downside. If you love to hunt there are endless possibilities! OTC MT elk/deer tag questions
I also live in Bozeman and hunt Hyalite pretty regularly. While I don't see many elk, moose sightings are abundant. -

Would you shoot a mountain lion or wolf on a deer tag?
Can't you sell a wolve hide for something like a $1,000. While the meat may taste bad it would make for an incredible story. -

Sneakypete... Breakfast in Bozeman = Cateye Cafe. Best place for lunch? Skip the Burger and go to The Roost. Its on Main but a little past downtown. It has great friend chicken and is one of the best places in Bozeman to eat.- landon55
