California Blacktail in July
The king range is the only real public land in B4. Hunt right on the ocean at the mouth of the Mattole river. Very remote and no tourist stuff for the rest of the family in the area while you hunt. A zone is July and super hot 90 degrees plus. All the public land you would likely hunt is... -

Some in laws live up there where the angora fire went thru. Lotta deer in that area seems like. If you don't mind seeing cars and homes in the background you should prolly get it done over there. I don't have a 3-5 tag this year but saw an ear width 4x3 in the area -

Deer over grazed....Ha! Gimme a break. There aren't enough deer to overgraze in the first place. Coyotes and bears eatin fawns and cats eatin adults plus the drought. We haven't seen too many deer ever -

Is hunting big game accompanied by a dog legal?
Nevada and Wyo wont let ya. I use my terriers for it here in CA. its one dog per hunter for deer here- jrod

Nutria, I love those dogs. I would like to cross one of those with my deckers. I know they are a very serious dog when it comes to hunting. really hard too. Cheers- jrod

terriers are my favorite dogs. These Deckers are a little different too; they don't dig when they are bored. I have had other terrier dogs as a kid and they liked to dig all the time. These dogs only dig when something needs killin. They don't bark to much either unless they are on a hot...- jrod
