Who'd have guessed it ORIGINALLY comes from the farm/mountain/etc.......
Not in English but the video made me laugh - hysterically :D
Definitely have the same clueless types in the Good Ol' U.S. of A.

Elk season the past 3 years has been put on hold during volleyball season. This year was no different. Thankfully I was able to sneak away during archery season and poke an arrow through a bull. If I have to miss a couple games, it's easier early in the season.
A few more pics and story here...
I'm fairly simple minded. A couple years ago all my posts had the same title: something about boys drool and girls rule. After my elk hunt this fall I thought it was pretty applicable to use the same title for this post. Most our leaves have fallen off the trees, the camo now has blaze orange...
......can skyrocket when they are this prolific! ;)
Looks more like a couple does tending a nursery full of fawns, but made me smile at the prospects, nonetheless.

...... is off limits in the city limits but still fun to look at. I took these pics a couple weeks ago. Saw him again yesterday and it reminded me to post them. Things get a little slower around here in January and some big kickers might help with some January doldrums.

Dumb boys should know enough to leave the girls alone or they're going to get their hearts broken (smashed, to be more correct!).
I had Columbus Day off of work so I sent a note to school excusing Paige so she could "Attend the Funeral of a DEER Friend". The Wyoming Youth General season was...
A couple buddies told me I need to be medicated after my Wyo rifle deer hunt. I backpacked in one evening and set up the tent in the dark. Hunted the next 2 days and then headed out the morning of day 3 to make my daughter's volleyball game.
I made a day hike into this country almost 15 years...
My daughter passed hunter's ed this spring and was rearing to go shoot a grouse for her first hunt. I took her on the opener and didn't even sniff a feather. In my defense, we only got to hunt between 2:30 and 5:30 as other commitments were pressing.
The next week we went out in the morning...
You really can't make this stuff up.
Arizona has lost it, or been infiltrated again by some scummy neighbors............

Sounds like they're considering moving the der/antelope application dates to coincide with residents. No more 3.5 month wait periods to kow if you drew or not.....................;)
If you have an opinion on the matter, let em hear it.

Got the link sent to me last night. Too bad he's 70 years old, but an amazing deer none-the-less.

I screwed up on the post. Ended up being 323, not 322
Pretty good read as things seem to get a little crabby around here in the spring ;).

to partake of all that Alaska has to offer? ;)
I've always said that I was never leaving Wyoming unless it was for Alaska. Well, I am going to throw my name in the hat for a job in Fairbanks. The more I look at the Alaska regs (seem way confusing!), draw odds, number of big-game species, upland...
Paige had a couple doe whitetail tags in her pocket over Thanksgiving. She harvested one Friday eve and the other Saturday morning. Friday eve I did the gutting as I had a hot date with her mother that we were almost late for. She field dressed the one Saturday morning. She couldn't quite figure...
Paige and I just hit 'camp' for the next few days. We'll see if she can continue her pronghorn luck on her first deer hunt. She has an any deer tag but we'll be looking for a mulie buck. She also has 2 doe tags. Might try and find a whitie doe if we get a mulie buck in the back of the truck...
Too many volleyball games and other school activities this next week. Pretty sure if I don't get this up now on my 'day off' I may not get it up for a week.
Let's just say that I looked at quite a few goats the next 2 days. I passed 4 bucks over 80". I don't believe any of the were over 83"...
I really wish I had a couple tags open right now. I'm on furlough from work and I laugh with my buddies that if I had tags open I'd be a subsidized hunter. Guess it's not meant to be unless this pissing match between 'our' elected officials drags on a couple more weeks.
After I got the...
