Unless you had a bundle of points already, it makes almost no sense to buy msg points in Wyoming. This just makes that decision even easier while making sure your average 12 year old never stands a chance of hunting msg in Wyoming.
I have seen 4 at once together but three were small which made me think it was a mother and 3 Cubs. They were not even close to as big as those, that is pretty cool stuff there. The videos would be fun to watch, their behavior is just interesting to observe.
Try this direct link, had to refresh a couple times but eventually I got in. Didn't help any, still struck out across the board.

They could probably quicken things up significantly by going to all electronic apps, no paper.
That being said, I have heard the office is saying the party line of you will have them by July 10th.
So I would expect they are not coming anytime soon.
I did one season with a torn ACL. Elk in Cali, Muzzy hunt in Cali, and antelope in Wyoming. I wore a brace, the elk and antelope were no problem. The muzzy on the other hand was an issue. Rugged steep country, my knee locked up a couple times on some torn meniscus that was floating around...
Mytopo is popular, rugged maps is a new one, but their unit maps for Wyoming are only for deer I believe. DIY hunting maps is another. Personally my go to is hunt data.
All the chatter on forums about the unit and one thread in particular full of pictures during the off season is all it took. Magazine pimps blew it up too. That combined with people desperate to get out of the point game in Wyoming and you have 50% or so point creep on that unit in one season.
Riverton and Lander are both about the same distance from Sweetwater station. Things come and go quick in remote Wyoming, there may be something in Sweetwater station or Jeffrey City now, but I haven't been there in a couple years.
A couple buddies and I have some lope tags for eastern Wyoming. We will be staying in Cheyenne, farthest east I had previously been was Laramie. Any good places to eat in Cheyenne? We will be there a few days. Anything else we should see or do while there? I very rarely hunt the east side...
There are left over buck tags in unit 109. If you get some PM me and I will tell you where you can go on public to get some bucks. It wont be the Wyoming experience you hope for, they wont be big, but you will get bucks and at least enjoy a trip with your boys.
For years I did leftover pronghorn hunts in Wyoming. There used to be units where access was problematic but doable. After all the tag cuts because of the bad winter a few years back the leftover tags just dried up, at least in units where you could still grab leftovers and enjoy the Wyoming...
Does Idaho have archery hunts that start in August like Wyoming?
I still can't believe, that this day and age, with all the technology we have, that hunters are still expected to find out about an August hunt in July. Makes it hard for the average working guy with his name on his shirt to...
