Does Utah have different laws, or maybe something in general I don't know. Buying a long gun, shouldn't matter where your are, correct?
I was at a Scheel's in NE over Christmas, I am CO resident. They were knowledgeable and helpful. Was going to buy a rifle, they said resident didn't matter...
This thing is getting ridiculous. I don't know whether to laugh at it, or be disgusted by it.
A guy has written a song, "Ballad of Big Boy".
There will be a silent walk on Pearl Street tonight in the bulls honor.
There have been editorials spurred by the event, such as, about why it's good...
Pretty crazy, I have a Boulder address, so I hear it from both sides. The non-hunters (majority of folks) think they should get the book thrown at them becaused the killed a beautiful creature that "they loved, and he loved them because he kept returning to the neighboorhood". Yes, that is a...
As far as the quiet ones go, I have only been around the Honda 2000. It is listed as 53db, the Champion listed above also says 53db. A buddy of mine bought a Yamaha and said it is about the same loudness as a Honda for a little less money.
If the Champion at Costco is only $480, I might have...
John-
That's kind of what I figured, thanks.
For those in Western states that have Big 5 Sporting Goods, they have the Axis XP in .223 on sale for $339 until 12/24. Might have to get one, been wanting a .223 for coyotes and such.
core4element moreno wool, boxers and 1/4 zip top, also have some dufold polyprop bottoms, all good stuff, been worn many times, comfy and handles many wearings and washings
Nice work!! You will enjoy all the work you put into it.
PM me if you need some help or advice with the equipment.
I'd be happy to put in a few work days in exchange for a couple hunting days in the future! I grew up on a large mid-western grain farm so know my way around the equipment...
i like the gray beenie and the fleece vest
everyting looks good.
i like to wear ball caps, but need the unsturctured type, while the ones you show aren't crazy tall, they still look goofy on my skinny head, so i vote for an unstructured ball cap
I'm all for uniqueness, quirkiness, goofy habits, etc. in deer camp, makes for good stories and memories. However, living in the Peoples Republic of Boulder, and seeing the folks that wear the 5 finger shoes, I won't be looking to get a pair. :)
Yes, it works as mentioned above. Here is what it looks like. I presume they haven't released deer results (or i didn't draw).

I hunt deer as well as turkey. I understand the necessity to cool down big game meat as soon as possible.
Do you think it matters if you don't breast out a turkey for several hours?
For years we have breasted out our turkeys once we got home in the evening, sometimes this is 10 or so hours...
Well, I figured if one has used them or are familiar with them, they would understand the title.
I'm sure it does make people look at the thread though. Buth hey, I didn't make up the name, Montana Decoy did:)
Anyway, thanks for previous and forthcoming input.
