The majority of them are marked. Even the ones in the middle of large public areas. Most people just don't understand what they are looking for and that a section is not always a mile by a mile.
Ill move on. Funny how just last week I worked with the head BLM surveyor here in Wyoming re monumenting section corners with a GPS. Highest law of the land when it comes to public land. Have a good day.
That level of percision does not exist with GPS? You are kidding right? GPS is used everyday in the survey world. Huge difference in my trimble R-12 head and your handheld.
Just wanted to share my good friends bull we harvested yesterday. We went for a hike in a snow storm. This is his second elk. Ever! Oh and a cool sunrise before the storm hit
43 is my 3rd choice every year. never have any trouble finding antelope and we wait until the HMA is unlimited. My father comes up from Texas and we fill every tag every year. Killed an 80 2/8" buck last year. it have be hard hunting but always see antelope.
lake owen, Rob Roy and and any one of the small creeks/ streams in the snowy range is a great place to start. My 8 year old and 10 year old explore every summer up there.
