2024 Turkey Season!
I took s trip to Illinois this past week just in time for a bout of terrible weather. Due mostly doing incredibly good luck I tagged out the first morning in the rain. Id rather be lucky than hood any day. 10.5" paintbrush beard and 1 1/16 spurs.- phutch30

Illegal turkey release
Not saying these arnt the suspects but Have they actually proven this truck transported the birds? I've read a couple articles in this and theyve all only said fish and game wants to speak with them. 2024 Turkey Season!
My wife and i took a trip down to central OK on a swap hunt. We couldnt have asked for a better hunt....ok less wind would have been good, but really cant complain. My bird came in screaming at about 1030. My wifes hit the ground at about 430. Mine had a 3" beard (beard rot) and 1 1/4 spurs...- phutch30

To me the only reason someone would use crickets to bait turkeys is because they figured they could get away with it ie the crickets were naturally there vs corn- phutch30

Losing 87 miles of refuge
I dont know why they had to go and mess with this. It was the reason so many birds stayed in the area. FWPs management of waterfowl in this state is such a joke.- phutch30

What kinda calls
I primarily use mouth calls but I always have a friction call. Some days you need that high pitch due to wind and some days they just plain want the friction call over a mouth call. Kansas turkey
Studies are showing a small percentage of hens produce the majority of the poults. If you have a declining population its only sensible to reduce the mortality on the weakest point which is hen mortality. Fall seasons typically have high hen harvests.
