Thanks again, and I've had alot of fun running with and behind the hounds over the past twenty years. Together we've caught alot of lions and bears, some we killed and others we walked away from, and had lots of fun doing all that.

I've been out hunting the hounds on and off all winter, and have been cutting tracks about every day and getting treed from time to time as well. I've also had a hunter or two along but we've walked away from a few toms for one reason or another. Anybody that's ever been under the tree with me...

Shooting the lion is seldom a problem unless you have a thick tree or that lion is ledged out on a cliff. We had a client in from back east with a long bow six or seven years ago to kill a lion. We treed him a nice tom in a large, dead fir tree...
It looks like somebody has more going than just doing a video to me. A few years ago I sat down and put two DVDs together on lion and bear hunting, and I did the hunting, the guiding, the filming, the edit and production work, the jacket design and marketing on the hole deal. Not one big money...

I've done a little guiding and helped a friend and Outfitter run down and kill lions and bears since about 1998 or 99. But the past few years the lion population has been thin so I bout quit hunting hunters. I do have a couple of lions to kill this year, that is if a good tom climbs when I...
I had a guy email me and say I should post up the photo of the bull elk I took last week down on the San Juan Muzzleloader hunt.
Two buddies and myself went down on my muzzleloader hunt for bull elk and had a great time. One of those buddies, Outfitter and Guide Shawn Labrum, was generous...
A photo of my ol' Ryan dog that was published in Outdoor Life Magazine of him face barking a Boone and Crockett tom lion in his youth.......

Yeah, I know what you're saying az as I felt the same way eight or ten years ago when someone told me there were some guys in Oregon rigging bobcats off the truck. I laughed pretty hard at that comment and figured it as bullcrap.hump
But the years have pasted and my hounds went from rigging...
I did get my first day off Sunday and loaded eight of my hounds to go look for a bear or lion. It was my first chance since elk and deer seasons ended and the dogs needed some work.
We didn't make it very far and my four dogs on top opened with a roar so I put Choco down to go look. He went...
