Thanks a bunch for the help. I sure like that site that you linked me too. You might see me registering there soon.
You are right I would have trouble finding lost creek. Just this morning I was in the car and saw the reciept said Little Creek. I dont know what I was thinking.
Thanks

Well, I finally found a place closer to home to hunt pigs. I was at a gun show here in SLC and found a guy from Collbran Colorado. He does russian boars and exotics on 1700 acres. I have been looking for a hog hunt for some time and am happy that I finally found one.
I also added a Spanish or...
I use a few different cow calls. The hoochie mamma is the easiest and best sounding call out there right now. I also like the Hyperhot by woodswise, and use a Carlton triple reed diaphram for mouth calling and to stop bulls where I need them.
I tried the sceery calls last fall and had...
I usually hunt a unit near laramie that goes undersubscribed during the draw. I havent checked to see if that is the case this year yet or not. My grandfather lives in Cheyenne, and knows several landowners that are practically begging people to take some lopes off of thier ground. However he...
Actually Jack is absolutely correct... My pops kills freezer filling elk every year with an 45.70, iron sights. And I dont think he would know how to focus a pair of binocs if he was looking at the neighbor's wife in the shower.

I made my first box call this past winter and used it in the field during the spring hunt. I actually just bought a kit of off ebay. Have any of you looked at some of the custom turkey calls for sale on there? I could go broke!!

Wamsutter???? The best thing that I have ever heard about that place is that it is the armpit of the country. Its barely an exit off the interstate.
Personally, I like Pinedale in Wyoming. Or else I'd have to choose somewhere around Grace or Thatcher Idaho.

Hey Tusker
How about a big silver haired guy named Kelly. He goes out there to Hollister to hunt with Tim all the time. In fact he is there right now.
Todd
Names sure do ring a bell. Tim, Joe, and Joseph come up here every year for mulies. If you ever run into Tim, ask him about the time we busted that whacker buck and he didnt have his pea shooter with him.

Last night in the chat Danr55 really helped clear up alot of my questions. But as is usually the case... I need just a bit more help. If I apply with a credit card, will it be charged for the full tag price and then refunded if I dont draw, or will they just charge the application fee up front...
I'm not sure of which ranch it its. I guided a few of his guys up here the last few years for mulies. They are supposed to be back agaon this year. One of my buddies is going again in June. He goes all the time. Im not sure if that is who you might be talking about or not, do you happen to...
I have heard lots of good things about the hog hunting near Hollister. Actually it is supposed to be incredible. You wouldnt happen to know anything about the Currodo (SP?) ranch would you? I've had lots of offers to hunt there, but havent been able to put anything together yet.

I work for others who lease the ground up there. Actually the guy that I work for is now Cal Haskell's (US owner) partner. They still have several leases in the Coalville area as well as near price and tabiona.
I've only been in the Gold hill area once and didnt spend much time there, so...

I believe that the USFWS has already adressed this situation with the following:
A. Firearms and Archery Tackle
R657-9-9 & 50 CFR 20.21
(1) Migratory game birds may be taken only with a shotgun or archery tackle.
(2) Migratory game birds may not be taken with a trap...
Hey Black Timber

I ran into a couple of guys from Bear Paw Outfitters at a sports show here in Salt Lake earlier this spring. I was pretty interested in thier Turkey hunts, and wanted to go this year, but couldnt work out the timing with other hunts. I was wondering if you have heard much about...
I think that I would have to opt for the lower middle goat. Its kind tough, not being able to see his prongs, but I am a sucker for symetry and a nice heart shape.
