Funny little side topic. When I was about 5 years old, I remember testing out my dad's new socket, wrench, and screwdriver set all over the gas meter. Man, I disassemblified that thing really well. Pops darn near did the same to my hiney!!!!!
By the way, Good Hunting last week!!!
I have been irritated a time or fourteen by ATV'rs while big game hunting. But boy if they didn't improve my life about 4,000% last year when we shot that big ol' buck at the very bottom of that big ol' bowl!!!!

If it's a Boone and Crocket dog, I just tie it across my hood!
For real, for real...the pick up bed. Also, my Suburban back seat does in fact have a marmot-flavored blood stain on it!
I actually admire the heck out of the guy. Sounds like a good business man. If I could figure out a way to make a living at something I love doing, you can bet your frijoles I would!
Sorry SilverBullet,
I don't mean to convert over to calls but...I love the sound of the AP-6. I had to tell you that because I havn't a clue what it is I sound like. But I like the high pitch!
Sheep hunting at 13,000 feet in the miserable cold rain with a leaky poncho, sopping wet overalls and long-johns, 2 ounces of rain in each boot, and having a diahrea call, finding a nice tree to climb into for some protection, finally stripping, squatting, jumping because of a stick poked you in...
Use a laynard.
I've owned about 50 million calls and I think I only own a couple today. I've been fortunate to go back and find a few of the lost ones. I found my lost Higgins about a month after I'd lost it. I am a VERY slow learner, but I've yet to lose one while wearing a laynard!
Doug, I've never heard of that, but it does make sense to me too. I would bet on it but with full intentions of losing the bet. Does that make any sense? I didn't think so.
But what you said probably makes sense, but maybe it works almost always, maybe oftenly some of the times, mostly!
Am I...
