    Brown Bear

    This is from video I took last month, so the quality isn't great. The bear was about 25 yards away, and walking toward me. I picked up a rock and hit his left front foot with it. Then he went into the brush.

    It's time here too

    I'm leaving Wednesday for a brown bear hunt in the mountains north of Valdez. It sounds like the snow is still good for snwmachines, but won't be for long. I love spring time. :D I'll be back some time next week. I told the wife I'll be home Monday, but we all know how hunting trips go. ;)

    A REAL MOOSE

    First of all, congrats to Moosie on your bull. Too bad about all that meat though. From what I know, this bull was killed on the Alaska Peninsula this year, and has about an 80" spread. Fuggin' huge!
