Long Trip Trailer Options - 6x12 Single Semi-Round Nose vs. 7x16 Tandem V Nose

There’s a lot of good advice here. I would take the tandem. They trail better and don’t seem to bounce around as much. The tandem will be better in rough road conditions with ruts and rocks. Mine seemed to walk right through the ruts with one tire down and one floating over the rut. Hope you...

    Enclosed Trailer Conversion

I went for it and pulled a 7’ x 14’ enclosed out for my first elk hunt ever. Tandem axel is the way to go on the rutted up mountain roads. I took my sweet time pulling it up the mountain to not tear off a fender or cut a sidewall. (ATTACH]87005[/ATTACH]x

    Bowsight advice

I just upgraded bows and went with a black gold 5 pin slider. I love it. You can custom order the pin colors and sizes. My top two pins are .019 and the bottom three are .011. This makes longer range shooting easier because the pin doesn’t cover the entire target. Hope this helps

    Enclosed Trailer Conversion

Sweet rig! How does it pull up on the mountain roads? I’m thinking about bring a 14 foot enclosed this year but I’m concerned with ground clearance and turning it around on mountain roads.

    Any welders on here?

I'm a steamfitter (pipe fitter) and weld almost everyday. I didn't care to go to college and enjoyed working with my hands so I decided to get an apprenticeship right out of high school. Through the training I received from on the job training and schooling I have done quite well for myself. I...
