    MT unit 670...got my CWD test back yesterday. "suspect" which means they will use an additional test to confirm positive. Buck looked plenty healthy when I pulled the trigger. Glad it was my deer and not my 10-yr old's first one this year!

    good to go...my understanding of match vs standard primers is that match primers go through a more stringent inspection process...otherwise they are identical. most primers i use are match grade.

    I did one of these about 10 years ago for elk on Theodore Roosevelt NP...definitely not a true hunt, but I still enjoyed myself. Some guys killed 1 elk, some killed 5+...everyone went home with 4 quarters and 2 backstraps...the rest went to the local tribes and the food kitchens.

    I haven't had the shot...but i'm gonna have to get it as we are planning on taking a Xmas trip to Grand Cayman (if they open up and I don't lose my already paid for airfare). The USMC gave me a smallpox vaccine and an anthrax vaccine...this can't be worse.

    If you can bump your price to $300 (That's list...might be able to get them for cheaper), take a look at the new Optika line from Meopta. I'd take Meopta over Vortex any day. I'm pretty sure Schmalts (Predator Optics) carries Meopta.
