I spent way to much time picking out a bino harness and I went with the Outdoor Vision bino harness in the end, very well made and the most sleek, comfortable efficient design I found plus has a built in rain cover which doubles as an extra pocket if your not going to be in bad weather. -

Backpacking with a neoair
I forgot I usually have a 4x9ft sheet of Tyvek Homewrap - cheap, super light, bombproof, washable, can use a tarp when butchering, and works as a tent ground sheet also. Come with tie off loops too...- Weberado

Dry Sacks
My pack is very water resistant since it has x-pac fabric and I havent met anything that has gotten through that yet but inside that I use a two layer system, main one that lines my backpack is a cheap trash compactor bag. What is in your First Aid kit?
I always carry a RATS Rapid Application Tourniquet System with me, over 80% of deaths are caused by excessive bleeding out. This system doesnt mean you lose a limb if you have to use it like some of the others, you can also do it one handed (watch the vid) and came highly recommenced by my buddy...- Weberado

Socks
I might be alone here but I like my toes to be free and not all mashed together - helps keeps blisters away also. Seek Outside packs
Just got my Seek Outside Peregrine in the mail. Went with it over the SG Solo since I just like the pocket set up better, has a rolltop, the main zipper goes all the way down to the bottom, and it just seemed to fit my body better. I sometimes bring a zlite foam pad (14oz) if im going shelterless or its going to be really cold (sub freezing). Gravity water filtration
I use the Katadyn BeFree 1L when Im near water and only use gravity filters/bladders if I wont be around water for long periods as the BeFree is easy to fill with out all the fuss of gravity's. As for the filter clogging, this is common in all filters over time, you have to know how back flush...- Weberado

Sleeping bags
I bring one of these emergency bivvy bags with me (and keep in the car at all other times) if Im using my down bags to act as a bag cover in any sever wet conditions or to use instead of a wet down bag if things got really bad. It only weighs 8oz too...- Weberado
