Arizona Draw

Best 10x42 Binos under $500
I own the Vortex 10x40's and love them. I also own Swarovski 10x40 EL's and love them too. You can't compare the two but at 25% of the cost the Vortex are hard to beat. -

Colorado GMU 60 2nd rifle help
I have hunted both units. Unit 60 can be good if it snows on Utah's Manti LaSal Mts. during your hunt. Unit 62 was a better experience for me though. I haven't been to either in over 10 years. When I hunted it I also lived I Arkansas. Good piece of driving but worth the trip for sure. -

Field Dressing
Skin ASAP. Then quarter gutless, + Backstrap. tenderloin, heart, neck meat, etc. in my pack. Take to camp and butcher (in packages freezer wrapped) immediately and throw in my trailer refer then freezer after cool down. If I don't take my trailer I Have a 120 Q cooler with just gal jugs of... -

Elk Decoy: The Real Deal or Sucker Scam?
I have been using a Montana Decoy for 10 years or more. If I'm sitting I use it, if I'm moving I don't want to fool with it. I took a nice Colorado bull in a wallow set up with one in 2008 so I will carry it just in case - forever. -

New Mexico Elk unit 51 late season
The Elk will move through that unit that time of year. Last time I was there 10 years ago I took a 300" 6 pt on the third week of October, rifle. I did not see a lot of Elk but saw some everyday. Did not see any until I was at least 1 to 2 miles from the road. Killed mine 2 miles from my truck... -
