Small Game
I drew a 1st season rifle tag in Colorado. My son who is 15 is going with. He absolutely loves small game hunting so for $1.75 I can get him a license. He has some of the CCI Quiet 22 ammo. Will he blow all the elk out of the woods if he is occasionally shooting his 22? -

Being from the midwest I really don't even have a need for binos. If I start hunting out west more I will probably invest in a spotter and/or better binos. Thanks for the reply. -

Thanks for the input. I was thinking I would be ok with binos on a tripod and no spotter so it is good to hear that confirmed. Since my tag is either sex and I tend to be more of a meat hunter I am not going to be picky. -

Knee surgery recovery

Grizzly charge = lessons learned
Your reaction should be based on the type of bear, grizzly or black. For black bear you make noise but for grizzly you back out. If you make noise when you see the bear all you are going to do is startle the grizzly. IMO the charges were self inflicted.
