I haven’t read all of this but; any reason not to have deer and elk at the same time or at least both in October? As presented it would seem to me that having them split will let people concentrate on one and then the other instead of putting everything in one bucket and just getting things...
I think I’d like more than 15 but truthfully it’s probably not needed. It’s going be a hunting rifle and I don’t have a desire to shoot stuff more than 5-600 yards away. I’d expect shots that far to be extremely rare
A mile away is a long ways in the area I hunt most often; in fact being that far away would basically guarantee that others are camped closer. It’s all area dependent IMO.
