Hey guys, I’m in search for a depredation cow tag. looking to take my father on a hunt he can handle physically. He’s about 70 years old and can’t hike. He would be beyond happy to take a cow. And I’ve been informed I will be the grunt on this one. Looking to go September 2021. If anyone...

    Broadhead details/opinions

I’ve been using 100gr ironwill outfitters. I’ve never shot an animal that it did not pass through 100%. 100 bucks for three but they fly like a field point. And lifetime warranty. Highly recommend looking them up.

    Mid-day rut elk tactics

I’d find a place to glass where it’s not likely that you’ll get busted. Somewhere that you can see more then one valley. Then have a sandy and a nap.

After listening to a few pod casts and reading reviews and whatching YouTube videos I’m looking at the metcalf. 525 dollars is a mountain of cash to dish out after...

I’d wait till there on sale or find a used M2 benilli. There about 900 bucks but they are awesome guns and they can take a beating. I use mine for everything.

Colorado otc archery for a solo beginner.

To add to the boot story, I wear a different set of boots just for hunting. And I don't walk around on the flats with them on. Break them in going up hill and down hill. 70% of guys I guided that went home early did due to foot problems. Good luck man. Work wins in the elk game.
