    How long?

    I have always waited and 'MOURNED' a dogs lost for a couple of months minimum. When my last Lab passed it was very hard and decided to get another dog to help take my mind off of the loss as soon as possible, which was about 5-6 weeks. I still miss all my Labs and this brings tears to my eyes...

    If you know what you want,try walmart.com, believe it or not they sell a lot of brands names for great prices. One example I just purchased a dozen carbon express maxima hunter for $120 I believe,uncut,with blazer vanes.

    BH 209 & Proper Cleaning

    I use BH in my Encore Pro Hunter,clean with hot water and dish detergent, always run bore butter down the barrel. shoot 3 209 primers first and have never had a problem with hang fires or misfires, I know it is frustrating but I would be surprised if it is the Blackhorn causing the problem.     Hunting from the ground

    It is a whole different perspective on the ground, I like to bow hunt out of a blind sometimes, its cool to have deer 15-20 yards in front of you not knowing your there, up close and personal, and like Cushman said , the native americans were the first experts.
