Yes .thanks guys for all your help.fresh pellets were key.next season I'm going to switch to buckhorn 209.with all the great reviews .I'd be crazy not too...sorry for delay in reposting .I was in NM on elk hunt.although I didn't score .it was a trip and hunt I'll remember forever. Thanks again.

Yes,Those are the results i was looking for .I tried the tmez(blue) first ,they seemed to go down tube rather easily.shot 24 inches low.Switched to tez(yellow) but could never get good grouping .Im going back to square 1.New powder.start at 50 yds.Get a tite group then move back.I hope these...

yes ,bought they jag..but how can a bullet carry 150 yards and hit target ,at impact .24 in off the ground and not carry enough kinetic energy to puncture a piece of cardboard .

Shot tmz 250.grain.with triple 7 .100 grains.into a wood pallet w cardboard target.they are are all over paper. At 150 yds .here is a picture of one of bullets . I found as I walked up .Thoughts? The print out target was 10 in low .right.

Nm area 15 elk muzzy

Thanks guys ,while this may be a dumb question ,but as a beginner elk hunter ,and using onix ,google maps to look for glassing spots over canyons.Do i want sun at my back while glassing if possible and I know wind in my face or cross. Or am I over thinking it because of distance elk could...

Hey guys,was lucky enough to draw bull tag for third muzzy season.Nov 18.area 15.I'm new to elk hunting,I'm a public land deer hunter from Illinois. I know don't laugh lol!My nephew is retired military that is a resident but has only hunted a few times.Does anyone have any insight into this...
