    I've never hunted outside the southeast, and thus have never hunted elk. However, it won't be long now until we'll have a chance to hunt them in Kentucky. I'm a little curious as to their typical patterns in a given day? How far will they roam around? Most deer around here like everywhere...

    This photo was taken at Cataloochie, NC. These elk were taken from the LBL herd in western Kentucky and transplanted to the Smokey Mountains in North Carolina. It's not going to be long for us to get the opportunity to hunt elk in Kentucky. Skipper

    Full Draw-How long can you hold it?

    I usually tone my draw weight down to right at 60 for that reason. I want to be able to shoot sitting or nealing if I have to. Skipper
