    This is good advice but an elk hunt in the Rockies can have widely swinging weather. You don't want to be without the right gear and then get hypothermia and die naked hugging a tree.

    I agree, for me, this is an acceptable hunting group. For long range target shooting of coarse not. I probobaly should spend more time to find a better bullet / powder combo.

    I was one of the complete fools that applied for a doe antelope tag in unit 69. Bummer. First time in 7 years I will not have an antelope tag. Nothing in the leftovers even looked good. Oh well.
