CO OTC 3rd riffle season...looking for advice.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction for hunting Mule Deer in WA??? Im looking for good places to research. Ill be hunting the general season. I plan on doing a couple 2-3 day trips through out the season because of work and "daddy daycare". Im not looking for any "honey holes"... -

Leupold CDS question...
Thanks, I contacted them as well and thats exactly what they told me. In the NW most shots are 100-300 yards so Im planning on getting the higher elevation dial. Thanks all for the info. -

Leupold CDS question...
Im looking to order a CDS for my VX-6. My question is about how accurate do I need to be for the elevation? I am hunting CO this year and the elevation range is anywhere from 7500-10500 ft (depending on snow). I also hunt in southwest WA were I live and the elevation here where I usually hunt... -

We talked to CPAW and they said that exact thing. The farther you hike in the more chance you have of running into outfitters on horseback. Thanks for the advice. We have a couple spots around American Flag and Boston Peak but it all depends on if the roads are closed to atv's or not. The... -

Thanks, yeah we planned on there being quit a bit of hunting pressure so we've been looking high and as far away as possible from roads and trails. hard to do in this area though, there are a lot of roads and trails in unit 54 and 55. -

Thanks, that makes sence. Dont get me wrong I wasnt trying to trash one style of hunting or the other. I was just kinda wondering where the line is on technology. That will obviously be different for different people, as long as it's within the law, more power to you.- potsy89

I just listened to episode 40 on your podcast talking about drones and "fare chase vs non fair chase and ethical vs non ethical".
